The Rolwaling village is situated in the upper Rolwaling Valley of Nepal. Rolwaling valley rests in the shadows of the Rolwaling Peak (7181m.). The valley has rich culture but isolates itself from rest parts of the country. In Beding, the Beding Gompa is an attraction. Numerous Thankas are displayed inside the Gompa. However, capturing photographs of them is strictly restricted. Omai Tso, Tsho ROlpa and Yalung La are few major attractions of Beding.
The Tashi Lapcha Pass (5755m.) offers a spectacular view of the Gaurishankar, Pachharmo, Jugal and Rolwaling range. Trekking through the Tashi Lapcha Pass is considered a challenging one. Hence, some mountaineering experience is suggested.
The Khumbu Valley is also known as the Everest region that includes the Sagarmatha National Park. Khumjung and Kunde are two large villages of the Khumbu region. Mt. Khumbila (5761m.) is an attraction of the Khumbu region. In addition, Mt. Everest, Mt.Lhotse and Mt. Ama Dablam also serve as backdrop to the Khumbu Valley.
