Description

Nirekha peak is a newly open Himalayan peak of Nepal.it is close to the Tibetan border and hidden among the well-known giants of Everest, Cho Oyu, and Chola-Tse. It is one of the most famous viewpoints among all the peaks of Nepal. The climb itself is relatively straightforward, though it does require ice-ax, crampons, and some fixed rope sections. It is a very do-able climb for anyone in good shape and with a desire for high adventure.

Itineraries

Upon your arrival, our team representatives will pick you from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. We will offer you a typical Nepalese dinner and discuss our trip packages.

The next day, we will assist you in preparing legal documents and other official permits which will be required during the trek. We will have a quick city tour in the evening.

We will take an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. After lunch, we will meet our crew members then start our trekking through the forested landscapes towards Phakding Village for the overnight stay.

The trail goes ascending through the Himalayan Pine and Deodar Cedar forest. We will start following the Dudh Koshi River and cross the suspension bridge over it.

Namche Bazaar is a historic trading post where Nepalese and Tibetan traders buy and sell salt, dried meat and textiles. The attracting Himalayan and lowland merchants, Namche Bazaar, offers some glimpses of snow-capped peaks including Mt. Everest.

We will begin our trekking trail early in the morning which will follow the gradual path with few short up and downs overlooking stunning outlook of the snow-capped peaks like Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kwangde peak. The path passes the Sanasa village and ascents through the left of Mongla Hill to reach Dole.

The trail goes through the forested landscapes and enters into the summer settlements of mountain people for animal grazing. Walking a little bit ahead we will see the glimpses of Cho Oyu, Kantega Peak, Thamserku, Lahbarma, and Luza.

In the beginning, we will climb onto the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa Glacier then descend towards the river bank with the beautiful outlook of Kangtega Valley. We will pass through two different lakes before reaching Gokyo Lake (4,750 m).

The route goes steeply climb in the beginning then becomes moderate ascend to get into the Gokyo Ri Peak. The top offers stunning views of Cho Oyu, Everest, Makalu, Lhotse and many more. Later we will descend to Gokyo Valley for the overnight stay in the tea house.

Today, we will begin our trek early in the morning and walk through the glacier and then walk for 5 hours to reach Thangnag Village. The route will offer us beautiful glimpses of Himalayan all over the journey.

We will cross glacier ponds and walk though snow boulders and rocky mountain before reaching Nirekha Base Camp. We will stay in tented camp at the Base Camp.

We will stay at the base camp to overcome the altitude sickness. In the day time, we will practice the use of gears and equipment and know how to walk on icy and snowy way from our climbing expert.

We will traverse to the right across some rock slabs, reaching flat territory just below the glacier. The glacier is mounted on the left south border. Then we will camp just below the Cho La after following the glacier to reach the spot.

The adventurous day should be started very early in the morning to get rid of strong wind that blows during the afternoon. We will ascend steeply through the snow-covered route. We will follow the footsteps of our climbing guide to get onto the top of the peak. After spending some quality time, we will descend towards Base Camp.

We will walk in the high passes and one of the tiff days to cross the Cho-La pass at 5,467 m height. The pass is not so difficult and challenging but it is steep and involves a glacier traverse on the eastern side. Then we will descend gently towards Dzongla for the overnight stay.

We will go through the Lobuche village towards Gorakshep. The trail is rocky and windy goes through the moraine of the glacier offering breathtaking views of Everest Base Camp and Kala Pathhar viewpoint.

The hiking towards Kala Patthar Viewpoint offers you the stunning views of Himalayas which are beyond the imagination. After spending beautiful moments for a while, we will descend to the Lobuche Village for the overnight stay.

The route goes down to Dhugla then climbs straight up the hill from the bridge to reach an upper trail.

The trekking will be quite easier compared to those of last few days. We will pass the Pangboche village and cross the beautiful Monastery before we enter the Tengboche Village.

We will continue walking through the forested landscapes and cross the bridge over Dudh Koshi River to reach Namche Bazaar.

We will trek through Sagarmatha National Park and cross beautiful forests to reach Lukla Airport.

We will take scenic mountain flight from Lukla to Kathmandu early in the morning.

We will visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu like, Pashupatinath Temple, Shoyambhu Nath Temple, Bouddha Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

We will transfer you to the International Airport from where you can return to your home town.
