The Larkya Peak (6,249 m.) is located in the western part of Nepal. It is situated in the Manaslu range in the Gorkha District. Climbing the Larkya Peak requires two camps viz. the Sano Larkya and Thulo Larkya.
From Larkya, panoramic views of Manaslu, Annapurna, Himalchuli, Lantang, and Ganesh can be enjoyed. In this region, cultures of the Gurung and Magar following Tibetan Buddhism can be seen.
This Larkya trek that begins from Arughat links many Tibetan villages. These villages are a set of various monasteries, prayer flags, and prayer wheels.
