Description

This zone is known as one of the most popular & interesting trek route in west region from Kahtmandu. The heart of Annapurna region has a power of magnetic attraction against trekker’s still remains secret of the trekkers though this region is most frequented by trekkers. The secluded place hidden behind the massive of Annapurna ranges is one of the most speculative vantage points of the region. The panoramic views it offers are beyond the expression of ones of words. The majestic Dhaulagiri , 8,167m. Which is the seventh highest mountain of the world and other famous peaks Nilgiri, Tukuche peak, Annapurna south, Himchuli, Fish-tail, Lamjung Himal, Annapurna IV, III, Dampus Peak, Mana Pathi Peak, Annapurna Fang, all stand up in line surrounded with the permanent snow. The pattern of undulating ridges laid beyond the touching distance is sort of miracles. Particularly during the spring season the place promises to enrich your spirit by the glow of various flowers found only in this region. The trail to this track is mainly dominant by the rhododendron, which blooms in spring.

Another attraction for the trekkers to visit this place is the open arms of locals and there strong believes on colorful cultural traditions among different cultural people. In every year there is celebrating two famous festivals. All the locals gathering together on the top of the ridge once in the month of March & April and another in the month of July & August. The ritual follows as per the tradition. In the first case the locals slain Yak and drink the blood while it is hot as they believe it the perfect treatment for any kind of illness. On the later occasion, during the day of sacred-thread replacement, people believe that they will receive everything they pray for. Especially the married infertile women came to ask for the fertility of their wombs.

Itineraries

Arrival in Kathmandu & drive to hotel

Drive to Pokhara by tourist bus & drive to hotel. Evening can be used for boating on the Phewa Lake or taking a stroll down the lakeside

After breakfast, we drive to Nayapull & Trek to Ghandruk (1,940 m)

Ghandruk to Tadapani 5 hour (2,721 m)

Tadapani to Dobato 6 hour (3,460 m)

Dobato to Chhistibung 6 hour (3,100 m)

Chhistibung to Kobra Danda (4,020 m)

Kobra Danda to Khayar BC (4,620 m) - visit Kalibarah Lake (4,827 m)

Khayar BC to Annapurna south Glacier & visiting lake & trek back to Kobra Danda (4,020 m)

Kobra Danda to Chitre (2,370 m) or Swata (2,270 m)

Chitre to Ghorepani as we waiting to tower of all Annapurna views Poon hill (2,855 m)

Trek to Tirkhedhunga (1,540 m) or Birethanti (1,080 m)

After breakfast, trek to Naya Pul (820 m). Drive to Pokhara

Drive or fly back to Kathmandu
