Hiunchuli (6441m.) is a supplement to the Annapurna South located in the Himalayas of central Nepal. The Modi Khola passes between Hiunchuli and Macchapuchare. The first ascent to Hiunchuli was made in 1971 by the U.S Peace Corps. Hiunchuli is a difficult trekking peak as it has no standard route. Finding paths and tackling with various difficulties is a major challenge during Hiunchuli trek.
In this trek, we can relish exceptional views of the Annapurna, Annapurna South, Annapurna III and Gangapurna from the Annapurna Base Camp and Macchapuchare Base Camp. Annapurna Base Camp and Machapuchhare Base Camp routes are usually among the snowy paths. Chhomrung is a village situated on the lap of Mt. Hiunchuli.
