The Family Friendly Adventure with Ticino Treks is a thoughtfully paced journey that combines gentle Himalayan walking with Nepal’s most loved cultural and natural destinations. This itinerary is ideal for families, first time visitors, and travelers who want a relaxed experience without long or demanding trekking days.

The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, followed by an easy trek through the Annapurna foothills. Walking days are short and gradual, passing through terraced farmlands, rhododendron forests, and traditional mountain villages. The highlight of the trek is the early morning hike to Poon Hill at 3,193 meters, offering one of Nepal’s most famous sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

After descending to the charming Gurung village of Ghandruk, the adventure continues with cultural sightseeing in Pokhara, a spiritual visit to Lumbini, and wildlife experiences in Chitwan National Park. Jeep transfers are used where possible to reduce walking time, keeping the journey comfortable and enjoyable for travelers of all ages.

This trip focuses on balance. It blends light trekking, cultural discovery, and nature experiences while maintaining comfort, safety, and flexibility throughout the journey.

Itineraries

After finishing the breakfast early morning your tourist bus will pick you and your adventurous journey began. After 6-7 hrs of a ride, you will transfer to a hotel in Pokhara. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Today you will head to Ulleri. Trek 1.3 hrs to Birethanti and trek to Ulleri for 4-5 hrs. Overnight stay at a hotel.

After having breakfast at a hotel, you will walk straight for 5 hrs uphill. You will encounter local people and different types of Inn on the way. Overnight stay at an Inn.

After having a cup of tea in Inn you will hit your road toward the panoramic sunrise views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu ranges and trek to Tadapani. Overnight stay at a hotel.

After finishing your breakfast, today trail is easy and head downward the Gurung Village also known as the Ghandruk Village. Upon arriving to this beautiful Gurung village, warm welcome awaits you. Overnight stay at a lodge.

After having meals in the lodge you will head to Kimchi after the 2 hrs of walk and from there you will travel 3 hrs with jeep and reach a beautiful city known as Pokhara.

Today we will not trek rather will explore this beautiful city of Nepal that is Pokhara. There are many places you explore in Pokhara and some of them are Phewa lake, Chamera cave, David fall, Mountain Museum, Mahendra cave and many more. Overnight stay at a hotel.

After your breakfast, you will go visit the place where the light of Asia is born that is Lumbini. Here you will visit different places like Mayadevi temple, Lumbini Museum, Lumbini Crane Sanctuary, and other many beautiful monasteries. Overnight stay at a hotel.

After finishing your breakfast, you will head toward the Chitwan National Park to experience the wildlife of Nepal. Here you can do many things like Jungle safari with a jeep, riding the elephant, and watching the wonderful sunset in the evening. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Due to the short time yesterday you may not get a chance to explore all the places in Chitwan. So today you will explore each and every corner of the Chitwan. Not only wildlife, while exploring the Chitwan you will get a chance to see and learn beautiful culture about the Tharu people. Overnight Stay at a hotel.

After having your breakfast, you will pack your thing and headed to Kathmandu around 9 am. After 6 hrs of long drive, you will reach to the Kathmandu. End of service.
