Description

The Annapurna region in North West Nepal is not only a popular trekking route in Nepal but also all over the world. The Annapurna region is noted as the most happening lure trek. The Annapurna peak is the 10th highest mountain in the world. The Annapurna region is a setting of rhododendron forests, high mountains, villages, and terraced farming. The local culture is also an add-on to other attractions of this region.

The Chulu-East (6059m.) offers astonishing views of the Annapurna II, III and IV, Manasalu, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak, and Gangapurna. The Chulu-East is situated above the Manang Valley.

The Tilicho Base Camp is another hub in the Annapurna region. The Tilicho, Nilgiri, and Khangsar peaks surround the Tilicho area.

Itineraries

We will begin our journey early in the morning leaving Kathmandu city at 6. The road goes through the beautiful green hill and follows Trishuli River to reach Bhulbhule. We will change the vehicle for Jagat.

We will begin our trekking early in the morning through beautiful forests and crossing several villages and rivers we will reach the beautiful village of Dharapani.

The trail goes crossing several landslides as it head uphill through a walnut tree forest and aside apple orchards until we arrive at Chame. At the entrance of the village is a long wall with many prayer wheels. The route offers spectacular views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II and Annapurna IV (7,525 m)

We will cross by the older part of Chame and climb up to Telekhu at 2,840 m and continue through the pleasant forested landscapes to reach Pisang Village (3,200 m).

We leave the Annapurna Circuit trail and climb up above the river on the slopes of Pisang Peak. We start a climb across the hillside through scrub pine and Juniper before Ghyaru (3,673 m)

We will traverse through a very arid countryside, dominated by weird cliffs of yellow rock, eroded into dramatic pillars alongside the trail to reach the village of Manang.

The route continues traversing through the rocky ridges which steeply ascends to the top of the village Ledar.

We will wake up early in the morning and start our trail towards base  camp crossing waterfalls and the glacier.

We will crest through the ridge we encounter a moonscape of glacial debris, the remnants of a receding glacier and we will make a high camp for the overnight stay beside a small glacial lake.

We will begin early in the morning around 3 a.m. We will cross several short sections of steep snow or ice which are even of 45 degrees. We will follow the footsteps of our climbing experts to summit the peak. Later, we will descend back to the base camp.

Today our trek will slowly climb up to the Tibetan-style village of Bryaga at 3,500 meter following the base of the valley to reach beautiful village of Manang.

We will cross the Khangsar Khola bridge to reach Khangsar village. From Khangsar we will climb uphill with good views of surrounding mountains to reach Siri Kharka. Then, we will follow the route that goes downhill through narrow trails alonglandslide affected areas, ice lakes and glaciers towards Tilicho Base Camp.

We will explore the tranquility  of the Tilicho Lake early in the morning then hike around the lake.

Later, we will ascend towards Camp site Kharka through the rocky ridges.

We will cross Meso Kanto La Pass today, which is relatively more challenging and thrilling than the previous one. We will ascend through the rocky ridge which will be snow-covered to reach the top of the pass then gradually descend towards Kaisang Kharka.

We will trek downhill and get to the Kagbeni village of Mustang district. We will explore the Dhumba Lake before arriving at Jomsom.

We will take an early flight to return back to the Kathmandu Valley. It will take 25 minutes of scenic flight to reach the International Airport in Kathmandu.
