The highest mountain on earth has several different names to the westerners it became Mt. Everest in 1865. More recently the government of Nepal has given it the name Sagarmatha.The Solukumbu region of Nepal where Mt. Everest lies has been a magnet for travelers ever since its opening to foreigners in 1950. This region is famous not only for its proximity to the world's highest mountain but also for its Sherpa villages and monasteries with their culture virtually unchanged through the centuries.Solu has received countless trekkers and mountaineers from all over the world. Solukhumbu has developed to a stage where many options are possible-from a full-scale expedition with tents and porters to an independent trek using the local lodges.Sagarmatha National Park established in 1976 covers much of the region. This fascinating land surrounded by high mountains is a real paradise for mountaineers and trekkers .

We commence our journey overland following the route of the first pioneers to Jiri a market town and the gateway to the Solu Kumbu region. The first few days are a push up through the beautiful alpine region of Solu on our way to the mountain air strip at Lukla. From Lukla we continue onwards amongst and alongside the regions famous inhabitants the legendary Sherpas. These hardy people have carved an existence since time immemorial from the frozen landscape. Passing through Sherpa villages and Monasteries along the way to our destination, Gokyo, Gokyo Ri, Kalla Pattar. From Gokyo Ri and Kalapattar, there are outstanding views of Everest along with Nuptse and Lhotse. We trace back to Lukla for our flight to Kathmandu.

Day 14 : Excursion to Gokyo Ri (5357 m.) trek to Thagnag Kharka (5025 m.)
Day 15 : Cross Cho-La pass (5330 m.) descend to Dzongla (4830 m.)
Day 16 : Dzongla / Lobuche (4930 m.)
Day 17 : Lobuche / Gorak Shep (5140 m.)
Day 18 : Excursion to Kalapatthar (5545 m.) return to Gorak Shep
Day 19 : Gorak Shep / Dingboche (4343 m.)
Day 20 : Dingboche / Tyengboche (3867 m.)
Day 21 : Tyengboche / Namche Bazaar (3446 m.)
Day 22 : Namche Bazaar / Phakding (2652 m.)
Day 23 : Phakding / Lukla (2840 m.)
Day 24 : Fly back to Kathmandu
Day 25 : Departure From Kathmandu

We quote comparatives, reasonable cost to operating tour/trek all major trek area in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan, if the group size is more than 5 peoples, the trekking cost for team leader will be free in the trek cost (This free cost doesnot include transportation and hotel cost). this commitment is also effective individually people those who want to join with our fixed date departure group trek.
